One Poem. One Planet. April 7, 2017

Then a thousand years from now
cumulus clouds will billow open

like white chrysanthemums
extinct beauty sailing toward myth

64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70/100… Zotterdog helping me out in the studio today. Changing things up a bit. I tried to cram another little scrap in my scrap bin and it said ENOUGH! And literally exploded with cloth. Some of these scraps are 20 years+ old. Time to transform discards into something beautiful. Zotter was a rescue dog, and now I’m rescuing these bits of fabric, if we want to get symmetrical about it. All Zot cares about is getting dog hair all over yet another project.

Happy Anniversary, Danno, we’ve come a long way from our rice and pea days and I’d do it all over again. ❤️❤️
