I’m thinking of making 2023 the year of red. I don’t use it very much and I don’t know why. Gonna change that. This was a great experiment from yesterday’s quarter square curvy workshop with @sherrilynnwood I started with cutting up an old denim shirt for the center and followed it outward, inviting the red in. I challenged myself to use all solids and keep it small—I always end up with quilts that can double as aircraft hanger covers. I think I’m going to hand quilt this one and maybe add some buttons.

A wee experiment this morning. I’m running out of the material I started with, so I can either substitute a poor match or go with something completely different. We’ll see where it goes.
